Southeast Gas Provided Hospital Staff with Gift Baskets

Southeast Gas is continuing the celebrations with the Community Appreciation month throughout the month of October after the company celebrated Public Natural Gas Week. The celebration lasted from October 3 to October 9.

The celebration is an opportunity to acknowledge the community care services provided by local hospitals across the Southeast Gas service area. Employees from Southeast Gas visited such hospital care centers last week thanking the staff for their endless service through COVID-19. On Thursday, Customer Service Representative Sonya Rogers, Southeast Gas accompanied by two other colleagues presented the Gift Baskets to the Medical Center Enterprise staff.  Amy Howell, who is the Customer Service Supervisor, along with Service and Installation Supervisor Ken Lunsford also presented the Gift Baskets.

Every single entity of community has been deeply impacted by COVID-19, and the struggle has not ended yet, said the Greenville Mayor Dexter McLendon. McLendon added that the local hospitals have been on call day night to serve the patients. The Gift Baskets are a very subtle way of recognizing their endless efforts to serve the community. Southeast Gas is offering the gifts as a thank you to all the care providers and staff for taking care of the community.

Southeast Gas is municipally owned natural gas utility. The establishment itself is recognized as a community friendly company for many reasons. The gas utility displays economic benefits, a very satisfactory customer service and fair and competitive rates. It offers natural gas services to 36 communities across Southeast Alabama.
